How do you make a vaccine?? Chicken Eggs of course!

Yes, chicken eggs are still being used to grow the virus as they have for the last half century. Some companies believe they could have made enough vaccine by now. In Meriden, Conn., one company has found a way to use cells from caterpillars to make vaccines. "It's a lot like reprogramming your computer. If we tell cells what to make, they make it," said Dan Adams of Protein Sciences Corp. The vaccine is grown in vats and then purified. It's then ready to be injected. The whole process takes about two months. It currently takes five or six months to make vaccines using chicken eggs. Click here for details!

5 arrests now in the gang rape case.

This story is so upsetting and very hard to talk about. For 2.5 hours a 15 year old girl was raped and beaten with many onlookers doing nothing about it. 5 have been arrested, but many who stood in the background will never be brought to justice of punished for doing nothing to protect the girl. Wow, I love his music and band....go to our video page and listen to "Fireflies"! He became a YouTube sensation while working the late shift at a Coca-Cola plant. He lived in his parents basement and will not do on-camera interviews...he says "I'm so thankful for being allowed to do what I do. I'm a silly shy boy from the middle of nowhere. I have the worst sense of direction imaginable. I was afraid to eat lunch with the other kids in high school. I can't even drive in big cities. I am totally nobody. I spill coffee all over myself. I am so undeserving." Wow...click here to watch the video!

Cute Ideas for you!!

Pilots no more!

Federal regulators have revoked the licenses of the two Northwest Airlines pilots who flew past their Minneapolis destination by 150 miles last week. The Federal Aviation Administration said Tuesday the pilots had violated numerous regulations, including failing to comply with air traffic control instructions and clearances and operating carelessly and recklessly. I really think they were sleeping and do not want to admit it....either way they are done and need to find a new career! Read more here.
Appropriately scheduled right before Halloween is one of my most favorite days, National Chocolate Day! I do believe there really is a special day for everyone. National Chocolate Day isn't a day just for chocolate lovers but a day for everyone to indulge and enjoy chocolate. How Do You Like Your Chocolate? There are so many varieties and variations of chocolate. Creamy milk chocolate, dark chocolate, chocolate with a touch of caramel, peanut butter or nuts, fruits dipped in chocolates, chocolate cakes and pies, chocolate mousse. I could go on and on. What will be yours be? I'm not advocating sitting on your couch all day eating pieces of chocolate..well maybe I am....really, just enjoy and celebrate a tasty, soul satisfying chocolate. There is a reason why - the stuff releases endorphins and makes you happy....it can be euphoric.

Sabrina did not work her Magic on Dancin'!

It was the Laptops......

The Northwest Airline pilots now say they overshopt the Minneapolis airport by 150 miles because they were busy going over schedules on their personal laptops....of course that violates airline policy. Delta said that using laptops or engaging in activity unrelated to the pilots' command of the aircraft during flight is against airline policy "and violations of that policy will result in termination." "Nothing is more important to Delta than safety. We are going to continue to cooperate fully with the NTSB and the FAA in their investigations," Delta CEO Richard Anderson said in a statement.

All this attention for Michael's song...

And now lawyers are involved...Paul Anka says he wrote the song with Michael back in the early 1980's. It was called "I Never Heard" and they recorded it in Anka's studio. It was about the same time the Thriller was taking off and Anka says Michael got a big head and "stole the tapes" from the studio. Michael's estate quickly determined Anka was telling the truth, so they cut him in for his 50% share of the profits and needless to say he's very happy!! Read more here.
